Over time, age and gravity can cause your face to lose definition. Double board-certified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Jeremy White has the knowledge and experience to help you hold the line on aging with AccuTite in Miami at ARC Plastic Surgery. This high precision, minimally-invasive radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis treatment allows Dr. White to deliver targeted correction and wrinkle reduction to areas of the face and jawline without more invasive surgery.
Developed by InMode and approved by the FDA in 2018, AccuTite is the smallest minimally invasive radiofrequency contraction device on the market today. Because it is so small, skilled plastic surgeons like Dr. White can safely deliver powerful radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis treatments to areas of the face that were previously out of reach, like under the eyes, along the jawline, or around the deep creases between the nose and cheeks (nasolabial folds).
Collagen is an amazing thing. Our bodies produce this age-defying protein to keep our skin firm, promote muscle and bone growth, moisturize our bodies, and promote natural healing.
Our bodies decrease the production of this incredible protein as we age, but there are ways to encourage the body to reverse that decline. Using AccuTite’s radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL), fat melts beneath the skin, triggering the addition of collagen and elastin, while radiofrequency energy tightens the skin. As the skin tightens and absorbs the collagen, your appearance will improve in the months following treatment. Radiofrequency treatments like AccuTite can also encourage the body’s natural collagen and elastin production as a response to the treatment. These production increases can often be a continued benefit once the treatment is complete.

AccuTite is an effective treatment for patients who want to slow the signs of facial aging and correct mild to moderate lines or laxity in the face without the downtime of more invasive surgery. It’s important for patients to be in good health and to have realistic expectations for what the procedure can do. During your consultation with premier Miami AccuTite provider Dr. White, he’ll review your medical background, assess your skin, and help you determine if AccuTite is the best treatment option for you. As a leading Miami facial plastic surgery specialist, Dr. White offers multiple paths for just about any issue, and he’ll make sure you find the one that’s right for you.
Once you’ve met with expert Miami plastic surgeon, Dr. White and he’s developed your treatment plan, the actual AccuTite procedure often takes less than an hour for him to perform. Dr. White begins by numbing the treatment area with local anesthesia to ensure you feel no pain during the procedure. He then inserts the thin wand known as a cannula through a tiny incision.
An electrode on the outside of your skin allows the radiofrequency energy to pass between it and the cannula, while AccuTite’s precise computer-guided technology carefully monitors the temperature for your safety. After a few passes with the wand to ensure proper treatment, Dr. White removes the device and you are free to go. For some patients, Dr. White will perform local area liposuction as part of the procedure. Since the procedure only uses a local anesthetic, with laughing gas if desired, you should be able to drive yourself home without difficulty following your AccuTite treatment.
Dr. White advises that patients give themselves two to three days to focus on recovery following AccuTite treatment. Most patients who have the procedure done on Friday are ready to go back to work by Monday or Tuesday, making AccuTite an excellent “weekend” treatment. Because AccuTite is a minimally-invasive procedure, you may notice bruising or redness following your procedure. This typically heals on its own within about ten days and is usually easily concealable with makeup. Dr. White recommends avoiding heavy lifting and exercise for about two weeks after your procedure to minimize the risk of bruising.
You’ll begin to notice initial skin tightening results about a week after your AccuTite procedure. However, that’s just the beginning of the fun! Since it takes time for the body to produce collagen, you’ll notice a gradual, general improvement to the skin in the weeks and months following your procedure. Skin tightening and contouring improvements will continue for nine months to a year after a single session, making AccuTite a simple way to get long-lasting results and preserve them with the occasional maintenance treatment.
Dr. White carefully administers local anesthetic to the treatment area before your AccuTite procedure so you feel no discomfort during the process. Nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, may also be used to help calm your nerves if desired. You may experience some soreness or bruising following treatment, but it is mild and easily managed with over-the-counter medication.
FaceTite (also developed by InMode) is a similar procedure to AccuTite with a slightly larger cannula and wand. In fact, AccuTite is often called “mini-FaceTite” due to its similarities. The biggest difference between the two is that, since AccuTite is smaller, it can treat more delicate areas of the face that even FaceTite cannot reach, like the areas under the eyes. Dr. White also offers FaceTite, BodyTite, and Morpheus8, as well as other InMode treatments like Evolve to deliver versatile face and body contouring options for his patients.
If you’re considering plastic surgery, choosing the right plastic surgeon could not be more important.
